DESTINATION PROFILE: ALBERTA

The Western Canadian province of Alberta has grown phenomenally in recent years and is now one of the country’s major commercial centres.  Not surprisingly, therefore, they’re on the look-out for more skilled migrants.  In this special destination feature, filmed both at the Emigrate Show and on location in Alberta, Colin Marchant meets Judith Klein of the Alberta Government, talks to employers looking for particular skills and catches up with Emigrate Challenge contestant Louise Green, who emigrated to Alberta, returned home for two years, but is now back in the province running her own business.
